Traveling on a Dream

Just a year before, her brother Lucas, at twenty-one, abandoned her with her parents on their farm in North Carolina to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. With enough money from her job at the library, she manages to scrape up enough money to get herself a ticket to sunny Los Angeles, California. She stayed in her hometown most of her life and has never set foot anywhere in the United States, but it was a better time than any to explore the world's most incredible stops.
