Young Sonic is stuck between worlds. He knows he is a king who rules over his land under the name of Arthur that wants to correct the wrong his "father" had befallen the kingdom. Little did his future warn him however that he is on a slow journey to unknowingly find the memories of his previous life in another world. He must fight the demons who wish to take him to the land of sleep forever and learn to not fall under the spell of hidden secrets. With his one true night Lancelot and his brother Tails can he overcome the stigma of how he wishes his marriage to be along with being what his "father" cursed? Will he be the one to live between worlds or will he die?

They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. "what makes you say that?" sonadow/ modern world au bored out of his mind, sonic the hedgehog and his brother manic venture out to the bar, but there's a catch: the azure of the two is in make-up and a dress! looking pretty feminine enough, they decide to mess with the werido drunkies of the establishment but upon meeting an ebony hedgehog named shadow, sonic starts to forget what made this joke funny in the first place. shadow the hedgehog is dragged to the bar by his brother mephiles and it's not like there's any way to escape. the striped hedgehog sits alone in a corner wishing to be no where but home but when a pretty girl in a pink dress approaches him he feels like a new man. what makes this all better: she has the same sense of humor as his! it's hard to believe she's a normal girl but nevertheless.. shadow is in love! if only he knew..
