Amelia and Carrington had an unbreakable bond. Their friendship included inside jokes and plenty of shared memories. They had been best friends since elementary, continuing to their junior year. Winter break had started, and Amelia got extremely busy with wrapping presents for the family, making food, practically anything holiday related. The end of winter break had finally hit, and they eventually had to go back to school.

Every time they saw each other, they immediately hugged and started having endless conversations anytime, anywhere. But this time, it was completely different.

A drastic change had happened between the two, and caused their friendship to hit the dead end. They distanced from each other which caused Amelia to spend her time alone most days. Even though she had multiple friends, it just wasn't the same.

One day, she met somebody who made her that happy little girl again. Therefore, her spark instantly came back.
