'The recon team had seen a lot throughout their time together, but even they struggled with the state of the corpse before them. The stomach lay ripped open, it's eviscerated guts had been dragged across the ground. The chest cavity had been exenterated, the organs within devoured. Blood and brain matter spread out across the snow behind it's head. But what concerned them the most was the fact that there was no face left. There was no way they could relay a positive ID to Command, when the target had no recognisable features.'
