In Latin invidia, envy is jealousy for others. You might be jealous of what they own, what they can do or simply who they are. If you wish for others to fail, this is also envy.

And to the best of the beings, the ones he sought right, to be called Friends, He gave the gift of immortality making them demi-gods. This tale is of the planet Ini-Wari, it had a fault with the first seven men and lost its spirit link. With time the people that came to be, became confused at the purpose of existing.
