Porscha Maye's dreams of a love match are shattered when she's commanded to mate with the Alpha of a rival pack. Now, trapped in a cold, loveless union, her thoughts regularly drift to the boy she left behind, while the Alpha's jealous ex schemes against her at every turn. Escape--however risky--is tempting.

But the mate bond is a compelling force, and the more Porscha tries to resist it, the harder it pulls her in. Her only consolation is that the same seems to be true for her Alpha mate. Maybe, if she plays her cards right, she can break him before he breaks her--that is, if she can keep her heart out of the game.
