Officer Lucy Chen has been together with fellow Officer, Tim Bradford, for five years, married for three, dating for two.
Lucy met Tim at Genny's (Tim's sister) birthday party when she was 18, he was 20 and going into the military but the two kept in contact over the years and in 2007 when Tim returned he joined the LAPD, along with Lucy Chen, the two became Rookie's together and Lucy became a psych major while studying at the police academy.
Five months later, Tim and Lucy graduated the Academy and became Rookie's together alongside Isabel Bradford, Tim's paternal cousin, who joined narcotics and went undercover losing her way to drugs.
In 2014 when Lucy's thirty two and Tim's thirty four the two of them start dating, they date for two years before marrying in 2016 with Tim's best friend, Angela Lopez, his sister, Genny, their sergeant Wade Grey, Lucy's best friend, Rachel Hall and her aunt and uncle with her cousins in attendance.
By 2019 their marriage isn't common knowledge and they like to keep it that way, Tim, Angela and Talia are all training officers and Lucy's happy as a patrol officer, Grey also kindly allowed their shifts to sync up and their days off too, so more often than not Lucy meets with the others for lunch.
