The device that had caused the rupture lay in fragments beside him, its circuitry sparking feebly before going dark.

A figure emerged, holding a blade that glinted under the pale moonlight. The man's appearance was striking - his clothes seemed simple and old-fashioned, traditional, and his expression held a fierce intensity that made Jiho's breath hitch.

"Who are you?" He leveled the sword at Jiho with practiced precision. 

"I... I'm lost," Jiho managed, his tone desperate. "I don't know where I am."

The tension in the air was palpable. For a moment, neither man moved. Then, with a frustrated growl, the swordsman lowered his blade slightly, though he did not sheathe it.
"Follow me," he said curtly. 

"Your name?" the swordsman demanded over his shoulder.
"Kang Jiho," he replied.
"Yi Yuwon," the man said without looking back. "And if you lie to me, Kang Jiho, this blade will find its mark."
