Alicent, begins the search and it seems like a proposal in the dornish might be in mind, but things might not go as planed, as the dornish woman that seems to speak to his heart is not the one that was originally meant for him. Troupes in this story: (minor spoilers) Choosing between two women, between what is expected versus what love commands, themes of arranged marriage, slow romance. It's not just a sickfic/sick character study only, but it will have major moments and full chapters where Aemond will be taken care of, specially by the main female, and it's a crucial point in the story, so it fits the sickfick/whump category. Note: This fic is written inside HOTD world, using some information from the book Fire and Blood as well, but is doesn't follow the canon. She takes each of them to the precipice of their ego through a journey of self-exploration and passion. --- This fan fiction depicts Daemon and Aemond in a big brother/younger brother dynamic. They engage in a mutual love triangle with an ethereal woman that offers them both affection, gratification, and counsel. Despite political and personal differences, Aemond and Daemon find themselves forever connected by their love and, at times, obsession of her. This story exists in an "alternate timeline" where Viserys has not named Rhaenyra (or anyone, for that matter) as his heir. This is a slow-ish burn (trust the process!) that is a bit ~spicy~ but plot focused (to say--spice isn't the whole point of the story).
