When a mutation starts to erupt on Earth allowing certain people to change their appearance, the government decides to unite to kill off anyone with the gene. As the mutant gene finally starts to seem preventable, Jason finds out that he has it and there is no cure only death. Dedicated to the love of my life for giving me this story idea. Instantly, they are the most popular people in the galaxy. And for once, popularity couldn't feel more like a curse. Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. And with strange new powers, the teenagers struggle to live in the unfamiliar world they thought they knew so well.
