Living on the kook side of Outer Banks had never been a problem for Dylan, other than the fact her only friends were pogues. And the fact that Rafe Cameron made it his business to have a personal vendetta against the entire group.

The alcoholism and substance use might've had an effect on his view of the pogues, but at the time he had nothing on his mind other than sex,drugs,etc, and of course, Dylan.
