Four years after the Battle of Hogwarts, the wizarding world had moved on and improved. Following the loss of their best friend during an Auror mission, Alessia Potter and Hermione Granger chose to become Unspeakables. They focused on the Veil of Death, which held significant meaning for both of them. After an incident that caused the two witches to fall through the veil, they found themselves in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, in the year 2009-seven years into the future. 

After a busy and life-altering year, the world they were thrust into changed once again, but this time for the worse. The world turned into hell on earth as the dead began to rise and walk amongst the living.
