Sara and Rohan 's got their game that's almost finished.
Faisal's got that football tournament coming up.
Priya's almost done with her novel.
These 8th graders have a lot of things going on in their lives, but these things are their prime focus. Sara, who's been playing Roblox since she was 8, has an unhealthy obsession with the game. She can't go back to reality, when Roblox is there for her. Also her friends. Of course, her friends. There's Rohan Barua, who's her comrade in arms for the development of the game. Priya's the childish, innocent one in their group, the one who's a bit cowardly at times, but you can see her really shine when she's talking about her K-Drama ideas. And there's Faisal. Who could forget him? Sara certainly can't! He's been her crush ever since 2nd grade. Faisal's a football player for their school, and he's got a huge tournament in the middle of the summer vacation. All 4 of the kids need to use the summer as free time to prepare for their huge projects, or big things. May it be a video game, a book, or just a football tournament. There's something going on with all their lives they want to focus on right now. Especially Sara. She's been working on that game for 6 months, and she doesn't want ANYTHING to stop it's development, not when she's so close to finishing it...
But her annoying older brother, Sadman has come for his summer vacation, fresh from his first year at Begum Rokeya university in Gazipur. Her parents threaten to ban her further roblox use if she does not stop using it during her brother's visit, which is 3 months long. She sadly leaves Rohan to complete the game, knowing she can't complete it herself. However, Sara's reality shatters even more, when protests erupt all over the country to make the amount of quota for the descendants of those who fought for the liberation war. The government shuts down the internet, which is literally her worst nightmare. Now she has to face reality, and whatever it throws at her.
