A hundred years has passed since the final human succumbed to the disease that wiped out their entire race. While humans were resilient, nothing could've prepared them for this pandemic, a fast acting, air spreading virus that just only got worse. Treatment was never found, those who could make it died too early. They never really had a chance. Now it's our turn, we have been thrown the torch and we must keep it lit. The first few trained Pokemon were devastated, but others were told by their trainers to keep going, for them. Filled with determination, civilization was rebuilt by these Pokemon, but the wild Pokemon were not happy, they became feral, hunting and seeking out weak Pokemon as their next meal. For the most part though, they are kept out. There are four main places Pokemon live these days, The Forest, ruled by the Fairy King, The PokeMetropolis, governed by elected officials, The Aquarem, a hot beach with an ocean that spreads as far as the eye can see, and The Ice Caps, a frozen land where many adventure out and almost none return. Then, there's The In-Between. A safe haven for most, full of shopping, food, entertainment, and even recreational battles where Pokemon can train and grow stronger.
Our story begins here, as mentioned before, The Forest. A nature filled, close knit kingdom where its residents live modestly and answer to The Fairy King, a Sylveon whose family of Sylveons have been ruling The Forest for the past hundred years, ever since the end of humanity. We follow Fae, a Sylveon who grew up in the PokeMetropolis, but now lives in The Forest with her parents.
Y/N, a simple woman, joins the deadly games to pay off debts after her mother's death. Young-Il, a heartless soul, controls the games, watching everything from afar while sipping on his glass of whisky.
But this year is different. When he spots Y/N, number 160, during the game of "Red Light, Green Light," he can't help but grow more obsessed with her.
The first game ends, and Young-Il decides it's time to join the games himself, meet her, and make her his forever. Not that he will allow anyone else to even look at her
But will Y/N really trust him?
