**Story Summary: "The Price for Vengeance"**
In the underbelly of Zaun, Ivy Kingsley has spent most of her life surviving the brutal realities of the city's ruthless streets. Orphaned as a child when an accident claimed her family, Ivy has lived with only one burning purpose: revenge. She's determined to bring down the powerful families and figures who destroyed her life, but her single-minded quest for vengeance comes at a cost.
When a crime she didn't commit lands her in prison, her life takes an unexpected turn when Caitlyn Kiramman, the brilliant and idealistic enforcer from Piltover, arrives in Zaun. Caitlyn, driven by a personal mission to take down Jinx and Zauns violent gangs, recognizes something in Ivy-a fierce independence, an intelligence that could be useful, and a potential ally in the fight for justice. She's struck a deal: if Ivy helps her infiltrate Zaun's criminal underworld and gather crucial information, Caitlyn will use her position to free Ivy from prison and clear her name.

War has taken over in both Piltover and Zaun. Piltover and its new Sheriff Caitlyn strategizes with new hextech weaponry as she and her allies debate how best to approach Zaun. Anyways I just alway thought the CaitVi subplot would be the perfect tragedy, given the tragic nature of Arcane S1, I was so sure that they would capitalize on it in S2. Arcane Continued
(I don't know much League lore so bear with me!) Vi and Caitlyn finally have the chance at a good life with each other, but Caitlyn suspects something her mourning partner doesn't. After scanning the maps, it's perfectly plausible that Jinx, Vi's sister could have evaded death. If Jinx and Vi reunite, it could make Vi completely happy, but Caitlyn fears that Vi will die searching for Jinx. Mel has taken her mother's place. She never thought that her, the just, refined, former Councilor of Piltover, would run such a warlike place like Noxus. She thinks that maybe, if she tries hard enough, the people can possibly incorporate peace in their morals. Sevika thought that her little family would last, but she was horribly mistaken. Losing both Isha and Jinx, on top of the stress of being a Councilor, has taken its toll on her. She can't bear to find people she connects to in fear of losing them as well. Jinx is alive. Not well, but alive. She barely escaped the blast of her grenade with her shimmer-induced speed, dragging her heavily injured body through an air duct. Now, she's all alone again, inside of the tunnel systems. She doesn't know where to go, scrounging for scraps and barely making it through each day. Ekko's returned to the Firelights, but a change has occurred. He had started to mend his relationship with Jinx, and after the news of her death hit him, he stopped finding joy in things. The young Firelights playing, the sunlight streaming through the tree, his hoverboard, all things that used to put a smile on his face, just seem to remind him of Jinx. Jayce and Viktor are stranded in space. The blast from the Arcane destroyed their mortal forms, and now only their celestial bodies remain. They travel to different universes now, helping people when needed, or just talking about their memories together. The most wanted criminal in Piltover, the infamous Jinx, is finally captured, much thanks to the sheriff's partner, Vi. Unfortunately, it happened accidentally, and just as Vi had learned her sister was seriously ill, and was finally starting to get through to her. To make things even worse, she then learns from Caitlyn that her sister will almost certainly be sentenced to death. But Vi isn't ready to give up on her sister so easily, especially not because of some topside laws. Besides, it's just concrete walls keeping Jinx in, and... she doesn't call Vi Fat Hands for nothing... This book took me WAY longer to write than I thought it would.
