As secrets lurk in the shadows and the tapestry of fate is woven with danger, Kai finds himself struggling to balance the fine line between loyalty, love, and the mysteries that call him toward the dark heart of Glimmerdeep Woods. Will their connection bring a light of hope or a fire that engulfs everything?

"There are two things that separate us, perfection and imperfection..." What if a tribe was run by perfection? Where failure is no option. That one mistake could end a life. Positions are won by strengths and there are no such things as flaws. Take every mistake, tripping, falling, failing, and erase it all. In this world, there's perfection. Nothing bad ever happens - after all, perfection means flawless. Being perfect is the only way to live and falling short of that expectation is unforgivable. That is Citrus' world. There's no betrayal, no heartache, no mistakes, no sickness, no deaths, and no unnecessary battles that force her to choose sides. All that's waiting for her is the bright sun, shining its golden beams onto her. Home to all perfect cats: the Tribe of Shining Suns. A shining, dark world where the perfect roam. But what happens to those who don't shine? As long as there is a sun, there are always shadows. Citrus has always thought of herself as a proud cat and wrinkles her nose at the sound of Imperfects; cats that suffer and starve in the shadows. Those cats stumble and fail yet try to spread their seeds in fresh soil, lingering around the world like an ongoing sickness. These disgraceful beings continue to rise no matter how much the sun burns them, stirring chaos in her perfect world. Like any infection, she knows her life will be better when the disgusting ticks are out of her fur. All she has to do is slaughter her way through in order to achieve perfection, but fighting this disease may risk her own life and worst of all - imperfection. A voice said blankly from the other end of the class. I looking around and found him flipping through a book lazily. "What are you? Five?" He looked half way up revealing his forest green eyes which was slightly hooded due to his brown messy curly hair which fell over them. The class busted out laughing making poor Henry's smile droop noticeably and that did it. I may not like this dude of a Henry, but that doesn't mean I won't say anything. "That's enough!" Professor Everett warned. "Get a life" I mumbled. "Like yours? Yeah, I'll pass," he scoffed and the class Uuued. "Jealousy is a disease bro, I hope you get well soon." I sighed dramatically and the class Uuued once more. "That's enough you two!" "Me jealous of you? Bless your delusional heart" he cooed. "I said that's enough!" Professor Everett warned silencing us. "Mr Diávolos apologize this instant" "But..." he tried to protest. "Now" he said leaving no room for argument. "Fine, I'm sorry" he mumbled with a scoff. Then Professor E looked at me expectingly. With a sigh, I said "I'm sorry for the mean, awful... and accurate things I said" and the class giggled. "What?!"
