Beneath the lies

Arianna is a girl who grew up poor and had a toxic relationship with her mother. She joins the FBI and end up on a team with no other than Leo James and his stupid frat friends. Together they find out secrets and complete mission risking both their own lives and others. While being undercover Arianna has to get used to being in the spotlight, paparazzis taking photos of her every time she gets spotted with one of the boys. Leo James, son of Theo James is a well known nepo baby. Arianna discovered a huge secret and betrayal as she finds out the truth hidden beneath the lies.

"You're not the boss here!" he yelled, his voice rising above the storm. "Running into a storm just to prove a point? Brilliant move, Ari!"

"I'd rather be out here than in there with you!" I shot back, the words slipping out before I could stop them.

He froze for a moment, his chest rising and falling as he glared at me. Then he took a step closer, his eyes locking onto mine, and suddenly the air between us shifted.

The rain seemed to disappear, the storm fading into the background as his gaze dropped to my lips. My heart stuttered, the heat rising in my chest a sharp contrast to the icy rain.

"Don't," I warned, my voice softer now but no less firm. I took a step back, my pulse hammering. "Don't you dare."
His eyes look up from my lips and back to mine again, i can see the anger through his eyes. But there was something more in them, something i know Leo couldn't even control himself.
