This story captures the essence of a hidden and forbidden love, between a female shogun (Eunchae) and a Samurai that serves her(Ni-ki).

In feudal Japan, Eunchae, the daughter of the powerful Shogun, is next in line to inherit the throne. However, her life is forever entwined with Niki, the son of the traitor who betrayed her father.

After his treacherous deeds are exposed, Niki's father is given the honorable option of seppuku to atone for his sins. Despite that, the shogun still take Niki under his wing as his father's last request.

As they grow together, Eunchae and Niki navigate the complexities of their intertwined fates, bound by duty, loyalty, and the weight of their families' past. Eunchae must reconcile her destiny as the future Shogun with her growing feelings for Niki, who struggles to redeem his family's honor.

Will their bond overcome the shadows of betrayal, or will the secrets of their past tear them apart?
