"And I was upset and frustrated because I realised, drunk and ready to forget, that I liked him in a strange way, in a way different to any other way I had liked a guy before, and because I wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not."

Hazel Elizabeth adores colours and paint, has a wild imagination, runs faster than any of the other girls in her school and sings with the voice of an angel. But she doesn't believe in love. Her two-month relationship with next-door-neighbour Nick ends and Hazel barely cares. And then she meets the Birch's; outgoing, funky Jamie; gorgeous, snobby Amanda; and Will. Blue-eyed, dark haired, and perfect in just about every way.
Over the summer before her final year of school, Hazel learns that sometimes you have to disregard your own beliefs and rules, and throw yourself into the hands of something greater.

28 parts Complete

Sometimes, people aren't what we assume they are. First impressions are never correct. One look at Hazel Cadman, and everybody believes she is the stereotypical good girl, with the perfect life. Little do they know that this girl doesn't live a perfect life. She isn't exactly the happiest person on Earth either. Freshly out of a relationship, Hazel is happy being single. Enter Xavier Tynan. The perfect bad boy. The baddest of bad. What happens when Hazel crosses the path of the bad boy? Or more like hides from her best friend behind him. What happens when Xavier starts to see past her happy go lucky nature. Fate is not merciful to either of them. Past lovers surface, bets are made, hearts are crushed and promises are broken. It's all part of high school. What happens when rainbows collide with stormy rain? There's bound to be one hell of a weather.
