Not my dad

Different from my other works have had this in my google docs for a while thought might aswell publish it

Riley struggles with the haunting presence of a creature that mimics her missing father, summoned by her desperate grief after his disappearance. The creature, a twisted nightmare wearing her dad's face, claims to be what she wished for a father who would never leave but its malevolent nature reveals its lie. Determined to rid herself of the monster, Riley performs a dangerous ritual to banish it, facing her fears and rejecting the false version of her dad. In the end, she finds closure, accepting her father's absence while reclaiming her life from the creature that had tried to replace him.
