The "you meet twice" theory is what you'd believe it to be defined as. If someone is meant to be in your life, your paths will cross again.
Connie Morgan and George Stanley were complete strangers before meeting at a party in the summer of 2023, straight after their GCSE's. Both in relationships and both quietly compelled by eachother after exchanging nothing but harmless eye contact the whole night.
Both 16 years olds are experiencing the dramatic highs and lows of "teenage love" whilst also trying to navigate their lives after exams. Connie is dating a boy who she doesn't quite get on with and a personality she doesn't understand. Whilst George is trying to find someone after his messy breakup a couple months back.
What happens when both of them start to weave in and out of eachother's lives after that August night? Will these two stay as close as eye- contact or something more?

"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk? I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge. "I had a wonderful time tonight," says the guy. He reaches to his face and removes his mask. I recognize him immediately.
