True Tomas and the 9th Legion

Venutios, the Brigantian high king, is losing his war against the Romans, headed by the 9th Legion. He makes an alliance with the Caledonii in the far north, but is defeated by a combination of the 9th and 20th Legions. Things are looking desperate when help comes from an unexpected quarter: a young poet known as True Tomas.
