Jerome's Alphabet Hero's

Jerome was sixteen years old when he became the father of twenty-six heroes he made. They were disguised in the skin of comic-book heroes, each imbued with powers that defied physics, morality, and even belief itself. Alphonse, the eldest, was the first to emerge-a good-natured sentinel capable of summoning impenetrable force fields. Then came the others, one by one, a pantheon of mechanical perfection: Bianca, Celeste, Ezra, Xander, and all the rest.

They called them miracles. Guardians. Heroes.

Jerome called them family.

The world loved them. The world feared them.

Jerome died and the world bled.
