It's been 28 years since the famed Mikealson brothers died. Their shocking absence and the rest of the family's lack of presence encouraged a deadly immortal to move into New Orleans and take over the their broken empire.

The wannabe king of New Orleans is Norma Van Ann's adoptive vampire father. Out of all his children she is the most chaotic and uncoordinated. But it's the lack of parental guidance and pure evil that has caused her to stray from the Van Ann court.

When she fails to kill her father for a third time she has no choice but to illegally summon the Mikealson brothers back to the land of the living. She needs their help. The fate of New Orleans rests in her hands.

However, the ritual goes wrong due to her inexperience with magic, causing only one of them to back to life, leaving the other as a ghost who vows to haunt her for eternity since she is the only person who can see or hear him.

Will the brothers help her defeat her father and save the city they love? Or will feelings get in the way of the mission at hand?
