Slow Death

[BxB] "Give it to me." Gem enunciated his words with a low growl. His hand was held out, anticipating the vile of his drug. However, Noah stood his ground and didn't give it to him. Instead he assessed Gem like the countless times Gem had done to him. He noticed the slight quiver in his eyes. His cold grey eyes were red-rimmed and was withholding an ocean of emotions.

Just yesterday, those same eyes held value to life. A love and a bond between his connections to his relations and friendships. Why where they so cold... was he faking his emotions the whole time? Right now, he looked tired to be alive. Was he trying to get himself killed?!

... Yes. Noah got it now. Gem's sickness had gotten worse, not better. The shit he was taking was sucking the life right out of him.

Noah's lips trembled before he spoke. His voice had a slight quiver, but it still held authoritative assertiveness. "How much did you take."

"Enough." Gem's cold voice chilled Noah to the bone. It was like he became a brand new person. There was no joy in those eyes. "It for my condition."

Noah didn't believe him.

After the death of his girlfriend, Gem ward struggles to find a reason to live. The days pass by with such sorrow. He wants to die. However, he knew how much a suicide hurts a person, so he comes up with a plan that would slowly kill him without it looking like a suicide.

Every day, Gem takes a special drug called tarda Morris. It's a drug not on the market and impossible to detect. He watches the days pass by while he takes daily doses to his death.

Noah escapes from his troubled past to hold onto the future. He has bright ideas and values life. It was only by chance that the two became roommates. With multiple encounters, Gem often finds it hard to withhold his true emotions from Noah, who cares deeply about the new bond they created.

While gen is drowning in his sorrows, they both think- Could Noah be the one to save him?
