Just a few short stories based around the main characters in a trilogy I'm writing.
For context, the main characters are the heirs to the throne of the major kingdoms of Dieré, a fantasy world. the kingdoms; Everdale, the kingdom of prosperity, represented by Princess Lyra, Silverthorne, the kingdom of luck, represented by Prince Damien, Elosia, the kingdom of servitude, represented by Princess Charlotte, Alvaria, the kingdom of protection, represented by Prince Phillip, Vivisteria, the kingdom of virtue, represented by Prince Jason, Althessia, the kingdom of peace, represented by Prince Henry, and Mizu, the kingdom of serenity, represented by Princess Ayame.
The trilogy will be three books, falling under the abridged title 'Vows of Sovereignty', and the titles in order are 'Unspoken Vows', 'Broken Vows', and 'Everlasting Vows'.
These scenes will mostly showcase the romantic side of things, so you won't see much of Ayame (who is somewhat abused, and thusly a bit averse to touch).

He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. She soon realized that the castle hides many secrets. She was met with the anonymous eight who were King Sulfur's closest friends. No one knew their true purpose and looks beyond the castle's court because the castle's magic would erase everyone who stepped out's memory of them. The two strongest of the eight turn out to be the main love interests of Aurelia. While she tries to resolve her unrequited feelings for a man she formerly despised, she realizes that she has grown attached to the king. She simultaneously wrestles feelings for her old best friend and tries to discover with whom her heart truly lies. TW: oppression, sexism, vulgar language and scenes.
