When sixteen-year-old Mia Cross gets caught stealing lingerie at the local mall, her reputation as the good girl shatters. Sentenced to a summer of community service at the decrepit town rec center, she finds herself entangled with Ridgeline's infamous troublemakers: Elliot Vega, the bad boy who's trying to escape his family's legacy of crime, and Chloe Mars, a chain-smoking, tattoo-dreaming queen bee who runs the high school like her personal kingdom.

As the trio grows closer, they form an unholy alliance to take down their shared enemies: a clique of rich kids who run the school and the town's fake "moral guardians." In their quest for revenge, they push boundaries-graffiti wars, exposing secrets, and stealing cars-but their recklessness has consequences, threatening to destroy everything they've built.
