Vienna could feel the King's eyes on her now, and she wanted to scream in excitement and panic. She wondered why he was staring at her, but she quickly figured it was probably for the same reason she had been staring at him. She swallowed to calm down her nerves and confidently looked at him, immediately catching his eyes, and she didn't look away this time.
Christopher was a bit surprised by her action as she matched his stare. It seemed like she was challenging him to look away first. His lips curled up in a smirk, and she smiled at him, but neither of them looked away from each other.
