Mickey Delgado had a reputation. A big one at that.

She was born a kook, but a pogue at heart. When she wasn't throwing ragers with her kook friends she was out with her cousin Kiara and the pogues. She was quite the party girl.

Aside from the fact that her two groups of friends hated each other, Mickey had a dark secret. Well technically it wasn't hers, but her fathers. For a while, Mickey didn't actually know what kind of business her dad did and quite frankly, she didn't care. He was always locked a way in his office or out meeting with clients. Not much of a dad.

No one knew that of course, except for the pogues. From the outside, her life looked perfect. But last year when Mickey turned 16, her whole life was flipped on it's axis. Up until that point it seemed to Mickey that her parents went through a great deal of trouble keeping their business away from their children.

When Mickey starts snooping around her parents stuff and asking too many questions, the truth is revealed. Her father, who she thought was your average charismatic business man, was involved in organized crime. Not just involved, he was practically the ringleader.

When Micky's father recruits her to assist in the business, and eventually inherit it, Mickey must make a choice. Will she stay by her fathers side, maintaining a comfortable lifestyle and reputation for her family? Or will she stick by her friends, her real family, and help them in their quest for gold.
