"The child doesn't even look so much as five years old, barely old enough to form sentences or pronounce his r's. Definitely not old enough to be alone." Eighteen year old Winter Evans goes on an early afternoon walk to clear his mind after the loss of his beloved Grandfather, when he comes across a small child alone in the park, sobbing and clutching a dirty teddy bear. There's no doubt the child was abandoned, and it boils his blood. Noticing the child's neglected appearance, he quickly becomes worried and vows to do anything and everything to help. A heartwarming tale of love, acceptance, abandonment and adoption, and the unspoken fact that family doesn't mean blood. PS: LGBTQ+ characters, no hate will be tolerated. TW: Mental health issues, mention of child abuse and neglect, depression, trauma and suicidal thoughts - NON GRAPHIC, but still may be sensitive to some.
