Haunted by the war and estranged from his friends, Draco Malfoy has isolated himself, burdened by guilt and desperate to reclaim a semblance of his family's lost legacy. When he learns of a long-lost Gryffindor treasure hidden within Hogwarts, he sees it as his one chance to buy back the Malfoy Manor and escape his past. But to succeed, he must return to the castle for a class reunion and risk crossing paths with Harry Potter once again.

Suspicious of Draco's intentions, Harry offers an unexpected olive branch, determined to help Draco find peace. Yet, Draco is unwilling to accept friendship-or redemption-when his focus is on survival. As their paths intertwine in pursuit of the elusive treasure, both men are forced to confront their shared history, and Draco must face a question he's been avoiding: Is the price of redemption something he's willing to pay?

Harry Potter is showered with praise and celebrated as the one who saved the Wizarding World. But with the wounds of the war scarring deep and a heartbreak to handle, he doesn't feel ready to step into the role the world designed for him. A problem Draco Malfoy can only dream of. Spending the summer cut off from the world in his childhood home, the only thing he wants is to flee its tight grasp. Yet, Hogwarts isn't the same it once has been and has nothing to offer to the former Death Eater but cold shoulders and dark corners, where he is supposed to linger unnoticed. But everything changes with a terrible potions mishap that forces them to pretend to be the other. A task already difficult enough, yet they soon find themselves tangled in a web of lies and threats regarding nothing less but the safety of Hogwarts itself. To escape the effects of the potion and solve the mystery of the attacks, they have no choice but to learn to trust the one they had every right to be wary of for the past seven years. It's easy to think that the greatest battles are fought on the front lines, in dark alleys or behind closed doors. But for Hermione Granger, the most painful war was one she fought in the silence, on her own. Her marriage to Ron Weasley, once a symbol of hope belonging, had deteriorated into something unrecognisable. Behind the warmth of the Burrow, there were shadows-violent, destructive, and suffocating. But some battles, she would learn, were beyond her ability to win alone. When the chance to escape came, she took it. With nothing but her courage and a few belongings, she fled the life that had once promised so much, seeking solace in the place where her heart had always found peace: Hogwarts. But even within the walls of her beloved school, the scars of her past could not be erased. Not until she found herself working alongside an unexpected ally-Draco Malfoy. The boy who had once stood as her enemy, the one who had tormented her and her friends, now offered her a different kind of support. As time passed, the distance between them began to close, their shared history no longer a wall, but a foundation. They find something in each other they never expected to find again-safety, understanding, and love. But just as they begin to rebuild what had been lost, a shadow from Hermione's past returns to haunt her. Ron, desperate and enraged, comes to Hogwarts-his anger consuming him. He attacks Hermione with the same violence she had escaped from, and in that moment, Draco becomes her protector. This is their story-one of rediscovery, of healing, and of love rekindled against all odds. Together, they will rise from the ashes of their broken pasts and embrace the future both of them have always craved. ****Please note, this fic includes graphic descriptions of traumatic events including all aspects of physical abuse****

Shadows of Slytherin

27 parts Complete

In the aftermath of the war, Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy return to Hogwarts to repeat their seventh year. However, a surprising twist during a resorting ceremony shocks everyone-Harry is placed in Slytherin, the house long associated with his enemies. Forced to share a dormitory with Draco, Harry must navigate the tension of living among those who once viewed him with disdain. The transition is anything but smooth. Old rivalries flare, and Harry becomes the target of distrust and bullying from students across the school. Despite the outward tension, Draco is the only one who notices Harry's inner struggles-especially the nightmares that continue to plague him. As the two boys clash, an unexpected moment of vulnerability leads to an uneasy truce between them. Bound by their shared trauma, they begin to question the assumptions they held about each other for years. But as secrets unravel and new challenges arise, Harry and Draco must confront their own fears and prejudices-or risk being consumed by the darkness they've both been trying to escape. In a story of redemption, healing, and unlikely connections, **Shadows of Slytherin** explores the fragile line between hatred and understanding, and how sometimes, the only way to find peace is through the person you least expect.
