Remus had already set his one goal for his last year of high school, and that was to become the valedictorian of his class. He confided in his friends to help him achieve that goal, not only James, Sirius and Peter, but also Lily, one of the friends he made on the last year of elementary school, while in an art and literature club.

Although, none of them expected for things to take a dark turn in the middle of the year, Peter suddenly disappearing from sight more than usual, he [peter] becomes more anxious by the second, often having panic attacks in front of his friends, and raises the suspicions of them, so they decide to probe deeper into it.

Little did they know the were in for a ride.
