Strigae of Relan [PROLOGUE]

[THE PREQUEL TO TURMOIL OF RELIGION]

Wilhelm is a man who has awoke in the back of a carriage with no memory of his past or what has happened to him, He must navigate his way through the world avoiding different encounters from beings that he has never seen.

Relan is the largest city in Tethoen, The land is mainly filled with large mountain landscapes, and deep lakes and swamps making most of the country inhabitable. Deep below the land however is an intricate tunnels and ditches where Earnshies (A name that the commoners had given to the people who live below) reside. People believe they are the ones that are the cause of the plague that succumbed the land, causing people to turn into monsters, demons, abominations of their previous selves. Cities are at war with each other, fighting over supplies, livestock and more land. The president of Relan, a deceitful man rose to power amongst all of this, lying and abusing his way to the top claiming he would be the one to stop all this, However the plague continues to grow stronger and stronger with each passing moon.
