Noah Calderon isn't here to play nice. New to the Valley, freshly relocated from Arizona with nothing but his mom's old beat-up Corolla and a chip on his shoulder, he lands in the middle of a karate-obsessed town trying to move on after a global tournament nearly broke it apart.

Noah's intense and unpredictable. Not to mention he talks back to Senseis and doesn't flinch when people underestimate him. And despite himself, Anthony keeps showing up at the dojo when he's there.
Their connection is messy, slow, and unexpectedly soft - forged in stolen glances between katas, shared jokes after sparring matches, and a lot of stubborn tension neither of them knows how to deal with.
