Beneath the frozen waves of the northern seas lies Ündah, a sanctuary carved into the depths where merfolk thrive in the delicate harmony of life and survival. For generations, the pod has endured the ocean's perils, but the tides are shifting. Fish are disappearing, hunters return mangled-or not at all-and whispers ripple through the currents, faint and foreboding.
Sel, a wanderer drawn to the ocean's edges, has spent his life chasing fragments of the past-questions about his mother, Vei, an Opal of silenced power whose secrets she carried to her grave.
Lyrene, a tidekeeper haunted by visions and whispers she cannot explain, is drawn to Sel by a bond she does not fully understand and a call from something far older than their pod.
When they uncover a relic carrying Vei's voice, it reveals a chilling prophecy buried by the elders: the currents are failing, ancient beasts are rising, and the ocean itself is unraveling. With famine and fear gripping Ündah, Sel and Lyrene must leave the fragile safety of their borders and venture into the twilights depths, where myths bleed into reality and the darkness stirs with life of its own.
But some truths are too heavy to bear, and some phantoms, once roused, will never rest again.
The currents are failing. The abyss is rising.
And if they fail, the world will drown in silence.

Waking up in the body of a Romani Archiman is acceptable. Getting 3rd and 1st True Magics is nice. Getting Beasts as pets - delightful. The world of DxD is unforgivable. It's a world where some teenagers who aren't even two decades old somehow mystically defeat the descendants of legendary heroes, ancient demons, powerful dragons, etc. Why does this happen? Simply because! Simply put, this world only makes sense because it doesn't. And now, I have to put up with the fact that I live here. Such pain. (DxDxMulti)
