Who would have known that renovating a historical building from the 1930s would prove monumental to a Vintage Love?
It's 2032. You find a board of vintage photos and newspaper clippings tacked to it hanging on a wall in a small dressing room. Everything is about the same man. You wonder what it would be like to hear him sing, to know him, to touch his smiling face. You reach out and lightly trace his features with your fingers, and suddenly, you feel the warmth of his skin under your fingertips, and a hint of his favorite cigar fleetingly fills the room.
It's 1932, and Suga, sitting at his dressing table, is drawn to the pictures on the board hanging on the wall beside him. Putting his cigar down, he approaches the collection of photos and newspaper articles. With his thumb, he holds one picture up that obscures another- it is a picture of you. He turns, facing the mirror, as your perfume briefly surrounds him. Yet no one is there.
Today is Valentine's Day, a year after you disappeared from his life.
Has the hand of providence thought it necessary to part these two lovers?
Is he strong enough to continue living without her?
Will her sanity stand the test of time?
Will the answer be found waiting in the past or fading into the future?

I use Grammarly ONLY as an aid in proofreading/editing. The most it does is show me where commas should be (the bane of my existence) and where 'you' should be 'your' (I have a bad habit of dropping the r, lol). It also points out where there is an extra space to remove. It does not help me write any words to my story or write my story for me

re·al·i·ty
1. the world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them.
See, that isn't right. Thanks for nothing, Google. Reality is based on perception - very rarely does it reflect the actual state of things. Emira was a businesswoman working at Kim & Kim Enterprises in London, embarking on an ordinary business trip to Shanghai, China. Jimin was an Army veteran, haunted by PTSD after his brief deployment to Afghanistan.
But that wasn't reality - hardly partial truth.
Emira's reality became an 100k Enemies-to-Lovers trope, and it was nothing like she thought it would be.
Jimin's reality became a nightmare, and it was worse than he ever imagined.
