Arin Bendelle has caught wind of the Mallium and suddenly finds herself stuck in the middle of a rescue mission. A mission so dangerous and daunting that she really has no idea why she agrees to it other than to save herself from feeling guilty about her fiance's death. In an effort to reconcile what was lost, Arin agrees to turn herself in as prisoner to the Vaults and attempt to rescue the Sylph--creatures the Majesty has locked away for reasons unknown, save to keep the city safe from them. As Arin prepares for her descent into the great dungeons, she can't help but wonder what truths she will uncover there and why the Majesty has been hell-bent on keeping the Sylph a secret.
