the goddess of spring is tired of being a flower in a greenhouse. this rose has bigger dreams - always had - than the glass walls. her mother has plans for her to be a maiden goddess, like athena and artemis, eternal virgins. she wants her beloved flower to stay as nothing more than a pure, innocent rose for eternity. but this goddess is ready to show the world that even as a rose, her thorns are fucking deadly. but the only way she'll flourish is under darkness.
the god of the underworld is sick of existing as a skeleton. millenia have passed, and his heart remains as it has been since he was ejected from kronos - unbeating. the oracle has prophesied a queen that would finally start his pulse, his 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦, but woman after woman, goddess after goddess and his heart is still nothing more than an organ. until the velvety petals of a rose brush against it.
