Kara Stone has a perfect life, that is she did, until the 10.9 quake that hit Colorado changed everything. She was just enjoying a concert, with her friends when a wave flows and takes out half of the crowd. She, and her friends escape with the handsome, Ryan Glass, prince of teen music. Along the way, they learn the quake, often called the big shake, caused everything west of colorado to break away from the continental Us. and the nuclear fallout from the power plants in those states runs rampant, mutations run supreme. After all of the electronics begin to die, and the fallout causes mutations, Kara must, along with friends she gathers along the way, learn to survive in the new world and to do this they must Evolve.

Magic should never have found its way into human lands and nature always must have a balance. When centuries pass and the curses have taken its rightful control of the blood drinker and wolf species, the scales will finally tip in the favor of the humans. The wolf born of just one drop of magic in their blood will create the key that combines the three worlds once more.
