Scarian high school Au

When Grian moves house for the gazillionth time, starting his last year of high school at a new school, will he fit in or be thrown away from the friend groups that have already formed and be cast as an outcast? Or will he simply be moved away again by his dad?

Grian doesn't care anymore, he's moved so many times that he just can't to seem to muster up the courage to care about, well, any of it anymore. In the years he's moved, he's only really kept two of his friends: Mumbo and Pearl. But as rivalry starts to form at home with his dad, between him and his only two friends and at school, who will he turn to then?

Will he follow the strings of fate, seek out his soulmate to provide him with comfort? Or turn him back on it all, like he has done many times before? Will he believe his father when he tells them, they're staying here, for real this time? Or doubt him, like he has done every time before?

But folks remember one thing, not every tale ends in a happy ending, will this be one of those that don't have a happily ever after? Or will it be another classic fairy tale, where the girl gets the boy? (Or in this case, the boy gets the boy?)
