Fred is the American ambassador in Rome, Karl is a Botany professor at the University of Nairobi in Kenya. It all begins with an anomalous and frightening behavior of the animals in the Serengeti Park. In Italy, Fred becomes ensnared in a dangerous plot to destroy the already terribly compromised relations between the USA and China. The two stories intertwine indissolubly, and Karl, alongside Fred, must try to save themselves while simultaneously saving the world from a diabolical and incredible conquest plan. Fantasy? Reality?
