Born into a family of NHL players, Jack Lavigne is determined to make his dream of joining the NJ Devils become a reality. All of that is put on hold, however, after an injury puts Jack out of commission for two weeks. While in recovery, he meets passionate ice hockey journalist/photographer Naomi Kennedy and they immediately hit it off, connecting over their shared interest of Ice Hockey. While Jack and Naomi become good friends on the surface, Jack finds himself struggling to accept himself for who he truly is within, with a messy self image and an even messier family life, Jack must find a way to feel accepted, while also accepting himself.
