The elders speak of a darkness that knows no mercy. It flows like a storm, sweeping through villages and cities, leaving behind nothing but barren lands. Though it has not yet reached Oralia, everyone speaks of it with fear in their voices. Some describe it as an inevitable fate, while others believe its silence signals that its arrival is near.
"When will it reach us?" This question echoes on everyone's lips, but no one has an answer. Some think the darkness is nothing more than a myth, and that future generations will be luckier. Others feel that the time has come, and the darkness will soon be upon them.
While the winds howled through the mountains, and at a moment when life seemed calm, the things that once filled Sara's world vanished. Answers disappeared. Even her questions vanished.
