From the Beast Within Book One; The Creature

Rowan Ohin is a "regular" highschool girl. She loves running, writing, and music. But Rowan, like all protagonists, has a problem. Her parents. Her one goal is to fail out of school, and earn enough to get out of her family and escape to find her sister. Or, at least, that's what it is until she meets Milo.

Milo Creud is a weird girl. She's the reason the saying "Come out of the closet" Exists. She's a shy, timid, and very violent senior. Money, murder, and escaping the hellhole called school are the only things on her mind, and they stay that way until her path crosses with someone who turns her life upside down. (quite literally)

Jaylan Creud is a tortured man, who was stolen from his broken family at 18. He was moved across the country, from rural Colorado in a town called Nowherevilleissomewhereville, to Sacramento, California. His mind and body are tortured to a place beyond repair, before he escapes from the one place he dreads to a new one, and finds himself tangled with a twining and spiraling love story.

Rose is a 26 year old scientist, working for a company called S.S.Y. She gets her life thrown into a loop when her memories come flying back, with scenes of murder and death, sex and drinking, siblings and family. She develops a soft spot for a refugee, escaping the Simulations that started it all.
