She wasn't just a villainess-she was the villainess. Or at least, that's what she thought.
Having read countless romance novels, she knew the drill: the crown prince breaks off his engagement with his scheming fiancée for the sweet, innocent heroine. The villainess, blinded by jealousy, retaliates, only to face her downfall-humiliation, imprisonment, or even exile.
Determined to avoid becoming that cliché, our villainess decides to play it safe. When her charming fiancé, the crown prince, starts acting suspiciously affectionate, her alarm bells ring. Clearly, he's preparing to leave her for the heroine! Rather than suffer the humiliation of rejection, she takes matters into her own hands-keeping her distance and preparing for the inevitable.
But her attempts to avoid drama spiral into chaos. Every time the crown prince tries to speak to her, she bursts into tears, misinterprets his intentions, and runs away before he can explain:
"You're breaking the engagement, aren't you? Fine! I'll talk to my parents! Just leave me alone!"
The crown prince, utterly baffled, watches her flee yet again, unable to convince her otherwise. To make matters worse, she starts matchmaking him with the heroine, convinced she's doing the "right thing," even though neither of them wants it.
Unbeknownst to her, the crown prince has been hopelessly in love with her all along. Now, he's stuck chasing after a fiancée who's dead set on ruining her own love story.
Will the crown prince finally catch up to the runaway villainess and set things straight? Or will her misunderstandings doom their happy ending forever?
