It is the year 3560, more than 1,500 years since the awakening of the Primordial Veins-a phenomenon ignited by the cataclysmic events that unfolded after World War II and the devastating detonation of atomic bombs. The world has degraded into a wasteland of megacities that are crumbling, shattering ecosystems, and lordships of the 13 Factions, each one commanded by formidable Primarchs. The factions rule through brutal strength, alliances, and manipulation- each interested in power over the force of the vein.
