Many people dream of marrying their crush, believing it would be the happiest experience of their lives. For me, it seemed like I was living that dream, but the reality was far from perfect. The man I married, Draco Malfoy, was not only my long-time crush but also someone who hated me.
Ours was a marriage arranged by his parents, something Draco never wanted. Though I agreed willingly, thinking I might finally win his heart, it only fueled his resentment. Months into our marriage, he still treated me coldly, speaking harshly and keeping his distance.
But then, something changed. Small moments of kindness emerged subtle yet so significant that they gave me hope. Draco began softening, spending more time with me and treating me less like a burden and more like a person.
This newfound hope drives me. If I can turn his hatred into love, maybe our marriage could become the dream I once imagined. But if I fail, I will have no choice but to set him free, no matter how much it breaks my heart.
