In the not-so-distant future, the world has been ravaged by climate disasters, economic collapse, and technological overreach. The Earth's atmosphere is barely breathable in some areas, and society is divided into highly controlled, isolated Zones. These Zones are managed by an all-powerful governing body called The Ascendancy, which uses a combination of surveillance, propaganda, and strict population control to maintain order.
Beneath the surface, however, a rebellion is brewing. Youth, especially those born in the years after the Ascendancy's rise to power, have begun questioning the truth about the world they live in, and their place in it. In the midst of this unrest, a group of teenagers discovers an ancient artifact, believed to be a key to unlocking the world's true history and the secrets of the Ascendancy's origins.

There was a major war that happened and now the government is trying a new experiment on the city. The main character, Alex, and her best friends who are twins are seeing that something isn't right. They're seniors in high school but because of the war, they've been separated on government orders. No one is allowed outside because the government is making people to believe its toxic. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete
Our Conscious Fields; What is living?
Slow paced narrative set in a world awakened to panpsychism and innate abilities following the fall and rise of society. A gentle approach to world building with a bit of humor, romanticism, and just enough hints of drama without going into it. When everyone writes about how it could all go wrong or what happens after it does; who wants to read about what happens if it just goes right for once? Still conflict and drama but, the hard work is already done. Now you just get to see a glimpse of what happens in a reality where it all works out. Being faced with zombies among other creatures again Claire is left with nothing but to face her past. A past she though she had left behind resurfaces as her place of refuge was now another ghost town. Claire's learns far more than she bargained for as the limits are touched. There was more to turn Racoon City tragedy and this is just the beginning of Claire's journey to the truth. Will she survive another nightmare or will she join the team of the undead? When the world goes to shit, what do you think of your chances of survival?
