In the great city of Nexus, everything is perfect. There's no such thing as starvation, poverty, or sickness. Except for Savannah Blackspark.
Savvy, a 13 year-old who lives in Nexus' orphanage: Cyril's Home For Abandoned Children, works as a slave for the malicious Draven family, is only fed once a week and is subject to brutal beatings at the rough hands of Nicson. Not to mention the peculiar injections she receives each Thursday that leaves her feeling confused.
One day, Savvy snaps. She decides to escape the horrid orphanage and venture into the world that she had been refused of for eight years.
Along the way, she unknowingly crosses the border that divides the rival cities of Nexus and Kinorax. Savvy is discovered, half-dead, by Kai Jaeger and is brought to the Adderhill.
Back at Nexus, something is wrong. People are falling ill to deadly sickness and the Nexus system is not there to cure them.
Can Savvy and her newfound friends save the Nexans or will they die trying?

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Concluída

Life After The Cure
Rex Salzar has cured every one of the harmful nanites and he alone remains with his Evo powers. An 'Evo' stands for Exponentially Variegated Organism. It's when "nanites" (which are small as cells but are little machines) randomly activate inside their hosts (human or animal) giving them powerful abilities. But it usually mutates them into monsters that are most times, mindless and destructive. But him being an exception as he retains his sanity and human form only using his ability to turn parts of his body (arms and feet) into various machines in self-defense against other Evos. Making him even more special is that he can cure other Evos. This story takes place after he has cured the world of that plight as he worked along with an organization called Providence. Rex now questions the need for him to be a hero anymore. He knew he was doing the right thing since his deceased parents who died during the first outbreak of nanties would want him to use his powers for good. But he wonders if this may be a good opportunity for him to start living a normal teenage life. Making matters worse he gets put on a seemingly boring mission to follow an advertising company that goes to underdeveloped towns that promises to give the people better lives. Worse yet he gets placed with his long-time partner Kenwyn Jones to go to one of the Caribbean Islands where this is taking place. The two had never really gotten along but he accepts the mission anyway to what at first glance may seem like a vacation to paradise to him. But when the locals start to lock their doors and windows at the sound of an ice cream truck and others who go out are never seen again may be a sign that his job is just not finished. That is if he's up to the task of being an everyday hero ATTENTION- I do not own Rex or any of Man Of Action properties/ past plots mentioned/ characters. That being said hope you enjoy and this story is fandom blind.
