Sam's been living in the streets of Texas for the past two years, ever since her parents died in the explosion.  It had killed everyone in the surrounding area except her, for reasons she can't explain.  Burdened with the guilt of survival, she fled, hiding from cops trying to find her and people trying to help her.  But when she get's caught on one unlucky day, she finds out that her mom's friend, Tony Stark, is coming to take her with him back to New York.  Now Sam has to get used to new weather, new food, new people, and a new city.  New York is very different from Texas, and Sam worries if she'll survive.  Read as Sam learns to trust people, and open up, realizing that she doesn't need to keep a mask on anymore.
